Low and Hesse-Low Nursing Scholarship

(2) $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to students enrolled in either the Traditional BSN program or the LVN to BSN program at the CSUSM College of Education, Health and Human Services School of Nursing. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units per semester; Students must demonstrate financial need and first in their families to attend four-year college.

Scholarship may be renewable contingent upon availability of funds. Students may re-apply for consideration each year based on an annual assessment of need, students should continue to meet the criteria.

Preference will be given to students who are single parents; Students who are currently employed; Students who demonstrate a commitment to upholding the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Number of awards per year: To be determined by the total available spending balance. Reserve $5,000 to carry over into the next fiscal year.
